What’s available in Wales?
Financial assistance exists to support small and medium business in Wales through a business support programme. This is provided through a Single Investment Fund involving both grants and other business support and funding schemes.
All grants that are part of this scheme are discretionary; they require an applicant to prove
- that the project will create and/or safeguard jobs.
A grant has to follow an application for aid. We can help with that application.
The Single Investment Fund has a budget pot of £92 million,
There is only one application form to complete, however getting that application right is the key to obtaining funding.
Those given grants will be the subject of assessment by the Welsh Assembly, they will look at:
- return on investment from business support
- increased employee income levels.
The fact that Grants are discretionary and the strict criteria applied before an award is made, mean that professional help to prepare for the formal appraisal process presents the best opportunity of maximising chances of receiving funding.
